A certificate that says what was actually tested
Most online certificates record attendance. Ours record an assessment, which is why they take four days to issue and why some people do not get one.
How assessment works

Step 1
The rubric is published first
Before you start a path you can read exactly how the final piece of work will be marked, criterion by criterion. Nothing is added to it later.

Step 2
You submit a real piece of work
Not a multiple-choice test. A design case, a working repository, a campaign analysis or a notebook, depending on the path.

Step 3
A person marks it against the rubric
A practising instructor, never the one who taught you, scores each criterion and writes back. Median turnaround is four days.

Step 4
The certificate carries a checkable identifier
Send us the identifier and we confirm the path, the date, the criteria assessed and the score band. Nothing else, and nothing that is not on the rubric.
What this is not
An EduStream certificate is not a state-issued diploma, and it does not carry academic credit. We say so on the certificate itself.
What it does carry is evidence: the rubric, the score band per criterion and the date. Our 400 partner companies treat it as a screening signal, which is the honest description of what it is worth. Roughly one in six submissions does not pass on the first attempt. You can resubmit twice, and the marker tells you what to fix.
Checking a candidate certificate
Send us the identifier and we confirm the path, the date and the score band, usually the same working day. The rubric it was marked against is published in full, so you can see exactly what was assessed.
